End-Of-The-Year Party Please see below regarding our upcoming end-of-the-year party…you won’t want to miss it! Globetrotters Game Congratulations to the 6th Grade Rangerettes on their half-time performance at theHarlem Globetrotters game on Saturday, January 28th. The girls did a FABULOUS job on the floor! In appreciation for the Rangerettes’ participation over the past several years, Ms. Judy was presented with an official Harlem Globetrotters basketball to keep on behalf of theRangerettes organization. We will haveeach 6th Grade girl sign the basketball as a keepsake of the2011-2012 season. Performances February / March performances are as follows: Tuesday, February 7th - Conroe HS GirlsVarsity BB Game: Game time is 7:00 PM; arrive by 6:00 PM toallow time to practice beforehand. Rangerettes will perform at halftime in the Conroe High School Gymnasium. Saturday, February 18th - Go Texan Parade:12:00 PM lineup. Rangerettes will rideon the float. Details on lineup positionwill be distributed as soon as we are notified. TBD, March – BB Rice Spring Festival: Information will be distributed upon receipt. Go Texan Parade Float This year, the Rangerettes will have a judged float entry in the Go TexanParade. We need volunteers, though, to help out with the preparation and execution of our float. There will be a scheduled session to paint and assemble float pieces on February 11th at the Conroe Recreation Center Activity Building from 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Jamie will keep all the decorations together andbring them to the parade on February 18th. We will then decorate the float with the pre-painted/assembled float pieces at the parade, at around 9:00 a.m. onSaturday, February 18th. If you could lend a hand with painting, etc., on February 11th and/orassembling our float on February 18th, please contact Jamie Blair atjblair@cityofconroe.org. Pleasehelp the Rangerettes make an awesome showing at the 2012 Go Texan Parade! Board Transition We will hold our Board Transition Meeting on March 4th. At that time, the Incoming Board will takeover direction for the upcoming year. Scrapbook and Website We have several more months of activities in the 2011-2012 season. Please continue to share your photos with Mr. Desilets for our website and Jamie at scrapbook4rangerettes@gmail.comfor the Rangerette scrapbook. Let’s make Ms. Judy’s scrapbook for the season a standout! On A Personal Note… Parents,please accept my most sincere thanks for all of your help and support during the 2011-2012 Rangerette season. It has been my absolute pleasure to serve as your President during the past year. And thank you for sharing your beautiful Rangerettes with me. Each one is truly a treasure and I look forward to hearing about all of the wonderful things I know they’ll do in their lives. Many, many thanks to the current Board of Directors, including Ms. Judy, for your support and hard work this year. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to work side by side with such kind,generous, and talented men and women!
